The Captors Of Sin 2xLP unofficial release is a compilation of two of the “Hell Awaits European Tour” shows played in the Summer of 1985.
“Hells Awaits”, “Aggressive Perfector”, “Captor Of Sin”, “The Final Command”, “Necrophiliac” and “Evil Has No Boundaries” were recorded live at the “Heavy Sound Festival” in Poperinge on May 26, 1985.
The show is missing “Fight Till Death”, “Black Magic”, “Die By The Sword”, “Praise Of Death”, “A Dawn They Sleep” and “Show No Mercy” (played after “Necrophiliac”) and “Chemical Warfare” (played after “Evil Has No Boundaries”).
“Kill Again”, “Crypts Of Eternity”, “Black Magic”, “Die By The Sword”, “Haunting The Chapel”, “Praise Of Death”, “Fight Till Death”, “At Dawn They Sleep”, “Show No Mercy”, “The Antichrist” and “Chemical Warfare” were recorded live at the Rührersaal of Nürnberg on June 14, 1985.
The show is missing “Hell Awaits”, “Aggressive Perfector”, “Captor Of Sin” and “The Final Command” (played before “Kill Again”) and “Necrophiliac” (played after “Crypts Of Eternity”).
The original release was reissued by various other unofficial labels on the vinyl format over the years.
In 1990, Golden Stars released the first unofficial CD, an incomplete transfer of one of the 2xLP releases.
For an unknown reason, the four songs on the third side were edited out (“Haunting The Chapel”, “Praise Of Death”, “Fight Till Death” and “At Dawn They Sleep”, all from the Nürnberg show).
To date, no complete versions of the Poperinge and Nürnberg shows are available on unofficial releases (despite complete sources exist on trading circles).
