Those familiar with Warren know that he had an obsession with boxing. Six days prior to this show, Buster Douglas, a Columbus native, knocked out the undisputed heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, to earn the title. In an apparent nod of approval, Warren opened the show with an add-libbed tribute to Buster. The proud hometown crowd went wild, which set the tone for this awesome evening of rock and roll entertainment.
