Although the sleeve indicates Orange Claw Hammer was recorded at "Studio Z, Cucamunga [sic] 1964" and Metal Man Has Won His Wings was recorded "Live In The Studio 1975," the reverse is true. Orange Claw Hammer was recorded live in a radio station studio during a station visit by Frank and The Captain while they were on the Bongo Fury tour in 1975. Metal Man was recorded at Studio Z in Cucamonga in 1964 while Frank and The Captain were in a band known as The Soots.
